Something about fireworks...
Reminds me of humanity itself
Something about the bright, the beauty, the joy
Something about the fugacity of all of that
The brief instants in which this things lasts...
A great moment, with looks of gloriosity
Fades away as easily as it ascended
Fireworks.
Eternal evolving and decadence of tiny pseudo substances
Who all crumbles due to time
Yet, aren't them wonderful?
Even if they only last for a fragile moment,
all those tiny particles are, in itself and in a whole,
eternally important, forever influential.
Ain't that similar to human life?
Even though we are dust,
we can live this life in an exceptional way.
Fireworks don't need to last long.
It isn't the duration of it that makes it great or not.
It is how they make use of their moment to shine, mostly in cooperation I must say, that makes it cause awe in us.
I'm well aware of how insignificant human life is in comparison to this universe in which we find ourselves.
Still, regardless of how worthless we may be, I find that we can still use the moments we have to shine, to provoke joy, awe.
To provoke other tiny, apparently worthless beings to shine even brighter, to ascend beyond those who are now decaying went.
To defy Time and achieve beauty.
To create meaning And sense to a life that maybe don't have any.
How we shine depends on ourselves.
